Amirah - Owner
In May 2011 Amirah began teaching pole under the name of Pole Movement. This grew to become Trowbridge School of Pole Dance and now Saints and Spinners! Amirah is trained in a large number of disciplines, which she both teaches and performs, including; pole dancing, aerial hoop, trapeze, silks, fire, podium dance and stilts.

Amirah is qualified at Level 2 Gym Instructor and level 3 Personal Trainer, is insured by Equity and first aid trained. She is also a Pole Dance Community (PDC) 3 star rated instructor. She runs the popular Project 6 Pack.

You can find her teaching aerial silks on a Tuesday, Hammock on a Thursday and she is available for private sessions.

Bex - Manager
If someone had told me, 6 years ago, that I would one day be the manager of a pole dancing studio, I would have laughed. Flashback to March 2012 and a friend of mine dragged me to her pole class kicking and screaming. It was a terrifying prospect for the depressed unhealthy 22 year old girl, standing in her shorts and t-shirt watching her friend flying around a pole upside down. Then Amirah taught me a spin and it was just about the most fun I had ever had. From that day on my life changed considerably. It is my hope that others will have the same positive and life changing experience that I had through pole dancing. It is what drives me as an instructor and, if only one person has that experience, then I have succeeded.

My main passion is pole dancing but I am also trained in aerial hoop, trapeze, silks, hula hooping and can teach all of these, plus stretch classes. I teach both group classes and private sessions at the studio in Trowbridge and Wincanton. I am a qualified level 2 gym instructor, a level 3 PDC rated instructor, insured and first aid trained.

Bryony - Aerial Hoop Instructor
My names Bryony and I started doing pole about 6 years ago. I went to my first class to keep a friend company as she wanted to try it out. I never left. I progressed to trying out a bit of all sorts, including trapeze, silks and aerial hoop. I loved aerial hoop, so I got a bit qualified and now I teach it at the studio. I am a qualified level 2 fitness instructor and I am currently working towards a personal training certificate. This enables me to show people how to fall in love with a big metal hoop.

My students told me I have a 'strange but effective' teaching method. I liked that phrase so I'm sticking with it. Aerial hoop is kind of strange, it can be hard work but its tons of fun and beyond satisfying when you nail 'that move'. My aerial hoop class is a relaxed and friendly place, all the students help each other out and are very supportive. It can be a bit strange, it can be really effective and it's all oddly therapeutic. Emma - Pole Dance Instructor
Emma started learning pole in 2008 at The Art of Dance studio in Plymouth whilst studying Theatre and Performance at Plymouth University. She became Social Secretary and later Team Captain of the UPPDC. After university, Emma competed in Bristol Pole Competition (2nd place – intermediate) and UKAPP (1st Place SW Heat, Finalist) before joining The Art of Dance as an instructor.

In 2014/15 she moved to Trowbridge, straight away seeking out training at LA Studios, Emma was happy to find a similar fun and friendly atmosphere she had loved in Plymouth and quickly became a regular in the advanced classes.

First starting with covering various classes when needed, Emma became a regular instructor quickly and has enjoyed teaching her regular students on a weekly basis. She has performed alongside students and instructors in performances both at the studio and external venues.

Hayley - Pole Dance Instructor
I starting doing pole in 2011, instantly addicted and began teaching in 2013. I absolutely love teaching skills that I've learned over the years- my classes are all about building strength, getting the basics in and then drilling the tough stuff over and over until tough stuff isn't so tough anymore!

I also work for Project6Pack, am a REPS registered level 3 personal trainer, level 3 PDC dancer and instructor and first aid trained. More qualifications include spinning, kettle bells, suspension training and I'm currently studying level 3 GP Referral (exams this August!).

I am available for private pole and personal training sessions.

Kayleigh - Pole Dance Instructor
Kayleigh started as a student with Bex in Wincanton in 2013. She had moved to the area and wanted to make some friends. She was one of the most overweight students we'd ever had, and she really struggled to lift her own body weight to begin with, but she worked really hard and soon was achieving some amazing moves! We were so proud of her hard work that we made her an instructor.

She enjoys a good drop, hanging from her legs and getting sexy. Kayleigh has competed in a large number of competitions and always gets involved in studio shows. Kayleigh loves to give her students a good beasting, and comes up with some of the best choreography.

Kayleigh teaches our Friday classes in Wincanton and is available for private sessions.
Megan - Dance and Aerial Instructor

Megan Walsingham is our newest recruit and has taken on our kids classes. She teaches ballet, hip hop and aerial hoop at the studo.

She has had many years of professional experience dancing, singing, acting, aerial hoop and teaching. She has a degree in both Dance performance and Musical theatre and a primary teachers qualification in P.E. Megan loves teaching children and enjoys her time at SASS very much.

You can find her teaching Mondays kids aerial and Friday & Saturday kids dance classes. She is available for private sessions.
